The move

Removalists to Lismore and the Northern Rivers.

Port Removals & Storage are removalists to Lismore, Goonellabah, Casino and the surrounding Northern Rivers towns, bringing people from Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and the NSW coast.

Your Move Partner sees your current home on a video call and gives you a fixed price on that call. One of our own crews loads once and delivers to your new home. If the dates don’t meet, your load can wait in our Brisbane yard.

Many movers to Lismore are coming for work at the hospital, the university or in local services.

Arriving in Lismore

Settling into Lismore.

We deliver across Lismore, Goonellabah and Lismore Heights, out to Casino, Nimbin, Clunes and Alstonville.

Many Lismore homes are raised Queenslander-style houses with stairs at the front, and since the 2022 floods more people have chosen higher ground around Goonellabah and Lismore Heights. Steep driveways are common in the hills, so your Move Partner asks about stairs and access on the video call.

Zack, Gary, and Glen did an amazing job with our interstate move. They were fast, careful, professional, and friendly. Everything arrived in good condition with no damage. They made sure all our furniture was in the right spot and reassembled everything for us. We will definitely be using them again for our next move.

FAQ

Moving to Lismore: good to know.

How long does a move to Lismore take?+
It depends on where you’re coming from and whether your load travels by road or rail. Your Move Partner confirms the pickup and delivery dates in your Fixed Price Move Plan.
What if my settlement dates don’t line up in Lismore?+
The first 2 weeks of storage are free on any move. Your load waits in our Brisbane yard until you have the keys, then we deliver it.
Can you deliver to a raised house with stairs?+
Yes. Tell your Move Partner about the stairs on the call, and they’ll send enough people to handle them.
What does the video survey involve?+
Your Move Partner calls you on video, the same day if that suits, and you walk them through your current home on your phone. They look at what’s moving and the access, then give you your fixed price on the call. Once booked, you get a link, and that link is how you join the video call.
