Moving to the Gold Coast

Removalists to the Gold Coast, with our own crews and trucks.

Moving to the Gold Coast from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Newcastle? Port Removals & Storage are removalists to the Gold Coast, with our own crews, our own trucks and a yard just up the road in Brisbane.

You deal with one Move Partner from the first call to the last box. They walk through your home with you on a video survey, you get a Fixed Price Move Plan in writing, and that is the price you pay.

How your move works

Three steps, one Move Partner.

1. Talk to your Move Partner

A quick walk-through of your home on a video survey, at a time that suits you.

2. Your plan, in writing

Your Fixed Price Move Plan arrives in writing, with the price and the dates.

3. Move day

Our own crew and truck load, drive and unload. You meet them at the other end.

Settling in

Settling into the Gold Coast.

People move to the Gold Coast for very different lives. Downsizers and retirees often head for Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Coolangatta. Families look at Robina, Helensvale, Coomera and Nerang, where there’s more room. Southport suits people who want to be close to the light rail and the shops.

Most of our Gold Coast customers come up from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, and many are moving to be closer to children and grandchildren.

High-rise apartments are a big part of moving here. On the video survey your Move Partner asks about lift bookings and loading dock times, so move day isn’t held up at the door.

If the new place isn’t ready, your load waits in our Brisbane yard until it is.

Storage at both ends

If the dates don’t line up.

If settlement or a lease doesn’t line up, your load goes into a secure storage module in Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Sydney or Brisbane for a week or a year, then back onto the truck when you’re ready.
