Port Removals & Storage are interstate removalists in Sydney for people leaving the city. Most of our Sydney customers are heading north up the M1 to Brisbane, the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast. Others go south down the Hume to Melbourne, or across to Canberra.
Your Move Partner sees your home on a video call, works out the truck and crew, and gives you a fixed price before you hang up. On the day, our own movers load your furniture once and drive it to the other end. We have a yard in Sydney, so if you need to be out before the new place is ready, your things can stay close by.
We move whole homes and part loads. A smaller load can often join a run we’re already doing to the same city.

The run to Brisbane is the one we do most from Sydney. It’s about 910 km on the M1 and Pacific Highway, and we unload into everything from Queenslanders on stumps to new apartments in South Brisbane. If your settlement in Queensland comes later than your Sydney one, your load can wait in our Brisbane yard.
Sydney to Melbourne is about 880 km down the Hume Highway. Many Melbourne apartment buildings book the lift and loading bay in set time slots, so your Move Partner asks about both ends on the video call and plans the delivery time around them.
Canberra is the shortest of our interstate runs from Sydney, about 285 km. It is often done as a single-day move, loaded in the morning and delivered the same day when the timing works. Your Move Partner will tell you on the call whether yours can be.
Gold Coast moves from Sydney cover about 830 km. A lot of them end in a high-rise at Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach, or a house in Robina or Burleigh. Tower moves need the lift booked with building management, which your Move Partner sorts out the timing for.

We collect from across Sydney: the Inner West, the Eastern Suburbs, the North Shore and Northern Beaches, the Hills District, Parramatta, the Sutherland Shire and the south-west around Camden and Campbelltown.
Sydney pickups have their own logistics. Apartment buildings usually need the lift booked and padded through the strata or building manager, and some only allow moves at set hours. Many main roads are clearways in peak times, and on narrow streets your local council may need to approve the truck parking out the front. Your Move Partner asks about all of this on the video call so nothing holds the crew up on the day.

Used Port Removals for my recent move from Syd to Bris - as difficult as moving interstate already is I had a time lapse between exiting the property to entering the new one. I was able to store my items securely in Port until we move date was ready. All of the staff have been wonderful to work with the movers friendly while getting everything done.
